Ron Barksfield - Director

As a Chartered Electrical Engineer, Ron Barksfield has benefited from a career that includes a multi-disciplinary approach to project development and process controls.

His earlier career included work associated with materials testing equipment which included electronic load weighing and servo hydraulic positioning control system design within a precision machinery environment.

Ron has been involved in independent process controls companies at Director level for over 25 years, more recently forming Premier Controls to provide acknowledged technical and development expertise. In this role he has led major projects that have included new plant-wide process control systems as well as many smaller process systems and projects.

Dave Kittridge - Director

Dave Kittridge is one of the leading PLC programmers and has vast experience in design and implementation of multi-PLC and distributed SCADA systems.

With a background as an Electrical Engineer, Dave started his programming on the first Allen Bradley PLC to be released and his knowledge now covers most platforms including Siemens and Rockwell.

Dave Kittridge has over twenty years programming expertise and his knowledge has been fundamental in helping processing plants to achieve full potential. He is also keen on improving the role and usability of management information data from process control systems.

Jon Calvert – Software Engineer

Jon Calvert, Software Engineer. A qualified electrical and mechanical engineer with many years experience of Allen Bradley, Siemens and other process control platforms.

Following work in South Africa and the U.S., Jon returned to the U.K. to further his career. His expertise has been used in process control projects in foodstuffs, steel and aluminium production plus concrete and aggregates.

As well as providing support and implementation, Jon has a strategic role in planning to ensure that customers are able to maximise the benefits of any new systems, especially where old and new systems are being integrated.

Nigel Turner - Senior Software Engineer

As Senior Software Engineer, Nigel Turner has over 15 years experience of PLC and Ethernet networks in applications from water treatment and robotics, through to semiconductors.

He has in-depth experience with the use of structured code techniques, running simulations and the proof testing of customer specific code.

Nigel has worked with a range of HMI/SCADA solutions including RSview and Ifix and has an excellent track-record in problem identification and solving
